Dan Walton was very kind to me when I hung out a shingle as a lobbyist 22 years ago. He took me under his wing. Taught me some good things along the way on how to lobby. And was always very encouraging to me and always asked about my girls. I’ve missed him the past several years and will always remember the great advice he would give me , especially on the golf course. He would say, "Marc, don’t get upset like that!" After a horrible shot and added, "You’re just not that good!" Truer words. Rest in eternal peace my dear friend. ![]()
